This project won the 2021 Dieline Award & GDUSA Packaging Award!

Founded by dermatologist and pharmacist Dr. Howard Murad, Murad Skincare sits comfortably at the intersection of science and wellness. Our holiday 2020 gift sets merge these approaches with the skillful precision you’d expect from a doctor. Featuring illustrations by Patrick Hurby, whimsical letters shaped like science beakers & burners spell phrases like “Best Face Forward” and “Look on the Bright Side” as reminders that optimism is good for the mind, body, and skin. Side panels bloom open like petals, revealing products conscientiously secured with a recycle-friendly paper base (not plastic) as a nod to our commitment to sustainability. An illustrated ‘path to wellness’ with tips and trivia inspires client interaction and supports our brand’s credo that skincare is healthcare and self-care.

The Honest Company: Diaper Design

Diapering has become the most popular product ever since the company was launched in 2012. Honest diaper is known for its cute and stylish prints for boys and girls and with new prints every season.

Training Pants

Honest launched a collection of printed Training Pants based on having a relaxing moment for parents when potty training. It’s delightful and educational, as prints were inspired by the daily playful moment of toddlers.

Adult & Kids Supplement by The Honest Company

Each of the old Honest adult vitamin were launched separately along with a different marketing strategy back then. The challenge of the new design were to unify the look and feel for relaunching in retail spaces. Each of the new packaging is color coded and has the main ingredients illustrated on box.

Conceptual Project

With the successful launch of adult vitamins, Honest aimed to re-brand their kids’ vitamins to become a consistent profile. Taking the approach of being both mom and kid-friendly, the new designs are more colorful and cheerful. Four directions are explored: ingredient story, farm-to-family, the key benefit of the product, and kid-friendly patterns.

The Honest Company: Packaging Design

Honest has relaunched and expanded its product line into Home Care in 2017. Over 50 cleaning products were successfully launched with a focus on natural and clean ingredients, with a modern aesthetic that fits beautifully on your countertop. Honest partnered with fine art photographer Jin-Woo Prensena to create the artwork for this collection.

By transitioning into retail spaces, Honest wants to explore and rethink the look of its Personal Care products. To be consistent with the overall Honest brand, colorful natural elements were introduced within the new design. Playing with different illustration styles makes the overall design more shelf-appealing and friendly to first-time consumers.

For Microsoft’s highly anticipated Surface PC tablet, the Pastilla team established visual guidelines for the print and outdoor advertising campaign and directed its roll out to the U.S. market.
